How is your court hearing affected by COVID-19?

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

New protocols have been implemented by the Federal Circuit Court of Australia, the Family Court of Australia and the Magistrates’ Court of Victoria in response to COVID-19. These new protocols are designed to reduce the risk of you coming into close contact with other court users who may be infectious.

If you have current family law or Intervention Order proceedings before the court, there may be changes in the way your matter may be dealt with. This article is design to help you determine if and how your proceedings are affected by the courts’ new protocols.

If you are unsure if your matter is affected by the new protocols please contact the Family Law team at Mills Oakley by telephone on +61 3 9670 9111 or by email.
