Leading national law firm Mills Oakley has advised Steven Madden, Ltd (NYSE: SHOO) to reacquire control of and relaunch the Steve Madden brand in Australia.
Steve Madden is a global retailer of high quality footwear, handbags and fashion accessories.
Mills Oakley advised on all aspects of the transaction, including purchasing certain assets from Signal Brands, JV and service agreements with Madden’s new Australian partner, Intellectual Property matters, tax and leasing.
The Mills Oakley team was led by Corporate Advisory Partner Andrew Chan, who was assisted by Intellectual Property Partner Lisa Egan and a team including Alex Gleed, Georgie O’Leary and Namita Gosal.
