Leading national law firm Mills Oakley has advised USA headquartered Southern Aluminum LLC, a portfolio company of Saw Mill Capital, on its acquisition of the business and assets of Ramler International Pty Ltd, marking a strategic expansion into the Australian industrial and commercial furniture market.

Southern Aluminum is an industry-leading provider of premium meeting and event furniture solutions, recognised for its innovative, lightweight and durable product offering. The company’s solutions are designed to enhance operational efficiency for venues while elevating user experience across a range of corporate, hospitality and event environments.

The acquisition represents a significant milestone in Southern Aluminum’s international growth strategy, enabling the business to establish a direct presence in Australia and further strengthen its global manufacturing, design and distribution capabilities.

Ramler International Pty Ltd is a Melbourne-based manufacturer and global supplier of bespoke commercial furniture, with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, customised solutions to the hospitality and hotel sectors.

The Mills Oakley team was led by Andrew Chan and corporate lawyers Hugo Wood and Emily Cleeve, Lisa Egan and Eden Tsiaples (Intellectual Property), Ross Levin and Jessica Millard (Employment).
