Leading national law firm Mills Oakley has advised Sekuro Limited on its sale to Insight Enterprises.
Sekuro is a leading Australian cybersecurity company founded in 2021 providing end-to-end security, governance, and compliance services tailored for enterprises and government organisations. The company is known for its strategic approach to building cyber resilience and has worked with high-profile clients such as Canva, Atlassian and Salesforce.
Insight Enterprises (NASDAQ: NSIT) is a NASDAQ-listed global technology solutions provider.
Mills Oakley advised on all legal aspects of the transaction, including negotiating sale documentation, taxation issues and regulatory matters (including foreign investment and competition law advice).
The Mills Oakley team was led by Corporate Advisory Partner Brent Delaney and was assisted by Melanie Hemers (Special Counsel), Chloe Kennedy (Associate), Joe Azzi (Associate), Isabella Gerardi (Graduate) and Katie Zheng (Paralegal) together with a team of experts from across the firm.
Commenting on the transaction, Brent Delaney said:
“We are excited for both Sekuro and Insight and what this deal means for their future by expanding Insight’s cybersecurity capabilities across the Asia-Pacific region. It was a privilege to work alongside Noel Allnutt, Ian Buddery, Daniel Fuller and the broader Sekuro team to achieve this exciting milestone.
Having been involved with the formation of Sekuro in 2021, this was a particularly satisfying transaction to facilitate. It was also a pleasure to work with the APAC team of Equiteq on another market-leading knowledge economy deal.”
Equiteq acted as corporate advisors for Sekuro.
