Mills Oakley advises on acquisition of The APP Group by Bureau Veritas

Mills Oakley has advised Bureau Veritas Australia in respect of one of its largest acquisitions in Australasia to date.

Leading national law firm Mills Oakley has advised Bureau Veritas Australia in respect of one of its largest acquisitions in Australasia to date – the acquisition of The APP Group from Five V Capital.
The transaction represents the latest in a series of acquisitions where Mills Oakley has supported Bureau Veritas, a listed Paris-based international conglomerate with over €5.8 billion in revenue.

The Mills Oakley team was led by the Bureau Veritas relationship M&A Partner Daniel Livingston, M&A Partner James McCarthy and M&A Senior Associate David Goldberg, together with a team of experts from across the firm.

Mills Oakley advised on all aspects of the transaction, including due diligence, regulatory and compliance matters, warranty & indemnity insurance matters and negotiation of the Share Purchase Agreement.

Completion of the acquisition remains subject to FIRB approval.
