Leading national law firm Mills Oakley has advised Five V on its investment in CriticalArc Pty Limited, a Sydney-based software and services company with operations in the UK and US.
Five V Capital is a leading, growth-focused private equity & venture capital firm in Australia and New Zealand.
This investment was the second in Five V Frontier Fund I.
Mills Oakley advised on all legal aspects of the transaction, including legal due diligence, ensuring continuity of senior management, negotiation of transaction documents, ongoing shareholding arrangements, obtaining FIRB approval, securing intellectual property rights, and seamlessly co-ordinating legal counsel across multiple jurisdictions.
The Mills Oakley team was led by Corporate Advisory Partner Brent Delaney who was supported by Bridget Edghill (Special Counsel) regarding all facets of the deal, with additional support provided by Paul Wentworth (Special Counsel), Olivia Bailhe (Foreign Legal Advisor) and Michael Zhang (lawyer) together with a team of experts across the firm.
