Meredith has very significant experience in Family Law, Mediation and Care & Protection law in a career spanning more than 25 years.
Meredith’s particular focus is parenting and financial matters.
Meredith is highly sought after as a Mediator, Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (“FDRP”) and a Litigator in the Family Court and Children’s Court.
As a FDRP, if parties are unable to reach agreements, she is qualified to issue a section 60I certificate, allowing parties to commence litigation.
Meredith is also an Arbitrator, Independent Children’s Lawyer (“ICL”) and a Collaborative Professional.
As an Arbitrator she makes binding decisions, which are registered with the court as Orders.
As a Collaborative Professional, Meredith works with Financial Planners, Accountants and others to settle issues amicably, without court.
Meredith is a highly experienced ICL and Child Representative, assisting the Courts in making Orders in the children’s best interests, and has undertaken extensive trial work in this role.
