Shanna has over 20 years’ experience which spans all stages of the development lifecycle, from acquisition to development sales across all development types, including residential, community, strata, industrial, mixed use, land lease subdivisions and master planned developments.

She advises a range of property owners and developers in relation to the preparation and negotiation of acquisition contracts, project structuring, sales contracts, land lease documents, title structuring and off-the-plan conveyancing.

Shanna’s expertise includes:

  • Acting on development projects, including joint ventures, project delivery agreements, development and project management agreements, option agreements and other structures
  • Acting on the sale and acquisition of commercial, industrial, retail, and residential assets
  • Acting on and managing large scale off the plan projects
  • Acting on collective sales and acquisitions, including through strata renewal
  • Advising on title structures, including preparing easements, covenants, by laws and strata and building management statements.

Recent Matters

  • Acting for Deicorp for Hyde Metropolitan, Sydney CBD – acquisition and sales ($1b)
  • Acted, advised, structured and prepared the land lease suite for the newly formed Assembly and Elka Holdings joint venture
  • Acted for ISPT on its NSW acquisitions and deposals of various assets, including the Kookaburra Industrial Estate ($300m) and Katoomba Shopping Centre ($250m)
  • Acted in relation to the development of many of the largest residential and mixed-use projects across New South Wales and Queensland, more recently at Darling Harbour, Barangaroo, and Circular Quay for Lendlease
  • Acting for Deicorp on its development portfolio, including site acquisitions, title and project structuring, and off the plan contracts and sales
