Rachael brings extensive prior experience as a litigator, practising predominantly in commercial litigation, insolvency, and building and construction law. She appeared across all court jurisdictions and successfully conducted litigation and mediation in complex commercial disputes, including matters involving leasing, construction, property and contractual disputes, as well as general debt recovery.

As General Counsel, Rachael provides strategic legal and risk advice to the partnership and executive management, manages the firm’s legal and professional risk profile, and works closely with leadership to develop and implement effective policies and compliance systems. Her responsibilities include oversight of regulatory compliance, professional standards, complaints management, conflict and risk issues, and engagement with professional indemnity insurers and external advisors. Rachael also has significant experience advising on insolvency matters, including acting for directors, creditors and insolvency practitioners, and advising liquidators and administrators.
