Prior to joining Mills Oakley, Hoda was the National Co-Head of Corporate M&A at KPMG Law Australia, and served as the NSW State Lead for Deals, Tax and Legal. She works closely with international and domestic clients on cross border mergers and acquisition, capital markets, restructuring, joint ventures and other corporate transactions.  She also previously served as senior in-house counsel at a leading global investment bank, advising on numerous buy-side / sell-side and capital markets mandates.

Hoda is also known as an expert in all-things governance, working closely with Boards and Executive Management on governance transformations, board and committee formations, conflicts management and more generally providing situations-based strategic advice.
