Hannah has over 10 years’ experience with the Mills Oakley Commercial Disputes and Insolvency team. Hannah has particular expertise in restructuring and insolvency matters, both litigious and non-litigious, and has experience advising in relation to all aspects of external administration. Hannah has also worked on a number of significant and complex commercial litigation matters in both State and Federal Courts.

Having previously served as a Supreme Court Judge’s Associate, Hannah is recognised for her technical knowledge, attention to detail and strategic thinking. Hannah prides herself on her strong communication skills and client focus.

Hannah acts for a wide range of clients including insolvency practitioners, secured lenders, creditors, debtors, directors and shareholders.

Hannah’s expertise includes:

  • Acting for insolvency practitioners on all types of external administration appointments
  • Conducting public examinations, voidable transaction claims and other claims available under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth)
  • Drafting and advising on deeds of company arrangement
  • Advising on a variety of technical issues relating to the Personal Property Securities Act 2009 (Cth)
  • Advising on debt and secured asset recovery for financial institutions, secured lenders and other creditors
  • Advising on complex contractual and general commercial disputes including contractual disputes, shareholder disputes and oppression claims, and equitable and trust claims.

  • Advising a major bank lender and its agents on the insolvency of the Steller Group.
  • Acting for the receivers and managers of Atlas Car and Truck Rentals.
  • Advising the administrators and then deed administrators of Speedpanel Group.
  • Acting on behalf of large group of clients of BBY Limited, an international stock broker in complex Supreme Court proceedings relating to the pooling of client monies.
  • Advising the administrators and deed administrators of NQR Pty Ltd.
  • Advising the deed administration of AED Oil Ltd, an ASX listed oil explorer and producer.
