Emily advises clients in all aspects of family law including complex property and parenting matters, issues pertaining to de facto couples, spousal maintenance, financial agreements, international family law and matters involving allegations of domestic violence. A trained Parenting Coordinator, Emily can be engaged jointly by parents post separation to improve their communication and co-parenting relationship.   • Guidance to clients dealing with partners who have mental health issues, with a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by individuals in these circumstances
  • Supporting clients to navigate co-parenting while tailoring arrangements to their child’s individual needs, with a special interest in neurodiversity and impact of trauma
  • Assisting clients with diverse cultural backgrounds navigating separation in multiple jurisdictions and working with interpreters
