Courtney is well-experienced in all aspects of Property Law.

Courtney brings particular expertise in transactional matters such as commercial and industrial leasing, disposals and acquisitions of real property and title structuring.

Courtney’s property law experience includes both landlord and tenant leasing across a range of sectors including commercial, industrial and retail. She has experience in disposals and acquisitions of real property, including commercial offices, development and sale of off-the-plan commercial offices and residential apartments, mortgagee sales and retail shopping centres.

Courtney has worked with a range of clients including individuals, corporations, banks, property developers and managers, shopping centre owners and franchisees and franchisors.

Courtney’s expertise includes:

  • Acquisitions and disposals of real estate, including commercial office blocks, industrial sites and shopping centres
  • Mortgagee sales
  • Acting for landlords on the leasing of their assets including commercial office, industrial or retail assets
  • General real estate law and advising on title structures, including preparing easements, restrictions and covenants, by laws and strata and building management statements.

Recent Matters

  • Acting for Goodman on its stabilised leasing portfolio, leasing a variety of industrial, office, retail and telecommunications sites throughout NSW, including those with a commencing rent in excess of $2million. Since working together, Goodman has awarded Courtney and her team Rising Star and Law Firm of the Year
  • Leasing of industrial, office and retail premises throughout Australia for various tenants and landlords. The parties in these deals range from individuals to listed REITs and ASX top 200 companies
  • Acting for vendors in the sale of various shopping centres and office buildings across Sydney
  • Acting for banks, including Suncorp Bank, Judo Bank and Bank of Queensland and other private lenders in mortgagee sales.
