Anthony is an experienced public law litigator and trusted advisor to Commonwealth Government clients.
Anthony has acted for a broad range of departments and agencies in litigation and regularly appears as a solicitor advocate in merits and judicial review proceedings before the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and Commonwealth Courts. Having commenced his career in government, he has an in-depth knowledge of inner workings of the Australian Public Service which enables him to provide targeted and practical legal advice for the benefit of his clients.
Advising government clients on administrative decision-making principles, including providing advice on good decision-making and procedural fairness, and drafting decision templates
Managing merits and judicial review litigation in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal, the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 2) and the Federal Court of Australia for Australian Government clients, including acting as solicitor advocate.

Advising the Australian Sanctions Office at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade on administrative decision-making principles, which included undertaking a review of decision templates and decision-making processes
Delivering Continuing Professional Development training sessions on litigation trends and matter management to the Department of Home Affairs.
