Last week, Susan Warda, Antonia Marran and Susannah Quinn were privileged to be invited to contribute to the International High Net Worth Family Law Roundtable 2026 hosted by Drew & Napier in their offices in Singapore.
The roundtable brought together an experienced and internationally respected group of family law practitioners from across jurisdictions for an open, interactive and highly engaging discussion on the complexities of jurisdictional disputes in cross-border family law matters. These conversations are increasingly important in a global landscape where families, assets and parenting arrangements often span across multiple countries, requiring practitioners to navigate competing jurisdictions, strategic considerations and complex legal frameworks.
Antonia Marran was recently invited to contribute to write an article for ANZA Singapore, exploring some of the key issues that separating couples should consider when navigating family separation overseas. This includes jurisdiction, international parenting matters and the importance of obtaining early legal advice.
With more Australians living and working abroad than ever before, international family law issues are becoming increasingly common and increasingly complex.
