Last week, the Mills Oakley Family Law Sydney Team said a huge congratulations to our Senior Associate, Jenna Georgopolous.
On Tuesday 19 November 2024, Jenna was elected as the Vice President of the Women Lawyers Association of NSW for 2025. This association is a professional body for female lawyers in this state at every level. They support lawyers, barristers and female members of the Judiciary. The Women Lawyers Association of NSW strive to enhance the working environment for women in law and have done so since 1952.
This is an enormous achievement, and the Family Law Team at Mills Oakley are all so elated.
The National Mills Oakley Family Law Team were proud to be silver sponsors for the 20th National Family Law Conference which was held this year in Perth from 30 October to 1 November 2024.
Our partners, Susan Warda, Carly Mirza-Price and Martina Thornton Storgato, along with team members, Jenna Georgopolous and Antonia Marran represented the Mills Oakley Family Law Sydney Team, and were joined by many colleagues from not just around the country but around the globe. Our delegates heard from industry leaders, participated in thought provoking sessions and attended excellent networking events.
