David Nolan heads Mills Oakley’s Sydney Corporate Advisory team.

Experience

David has over 14 years experience advising Australian and international clients on all aspects of commercial law.  David specialises in capital raisings, mergers and acquisitions and corporate and commercial law.

Expertise

David has worked in Sydney and London and his clients include listed and unlisted companies and funds, banks, professionals and privately held businesses.  David advises clients across a diverse range of industries including mining and resources, property, retail, IT, financial services and health sciences.

David has expertise across the following areas:

• IPOs and capital raisings (public and private);

• venture capital and private equity;

• mergers and acquisitions;

• restructurings and takeovers;

• corporate finance;

• regulatory and corporate governance advice;

• financial services and funds management; and

• corporate and commercial law.

David is recognised for his proactive and commercial approach to complex transactions and has valuable relationships in the advisory and regulatory community.  Prior to joining Mills Oakley David was a principal at a boutique commercial firm in Sydney.  Prior to that role he was a senior adviser in the Equity and Capital Markets Group at the London Stock Exchange.

Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor of Laws (Hons), Bachelor of Arts – Bond University
• David is admitted to practice as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of New South Wales (1997)
