David Archer is a Partner within Mills Oakley’s Property and Banking and Finance Teams.

Experience

David has extensive experience in commercial finance and property transactions.  His principal areas of practice are those of property-based commercial finance, property acquisitions, development and sale and joint ventures for property acquisitions and developments.  He acts for financiers in the preparation of all types of loan security documentation for commercial real estate transactions and provides advices on the appropriate securities structure for such transactions.

Expertise

David has extensive experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating terms for agreements for property acquisition and development projects.  David acts for vendors and purchasers across the full range of property transactions, including drafting and negotiating terms for Contracts of Sale, commercial and retail leases, development agreements and provides advice on all aspects of land subdivision.

In addition to those areas of expertise, David has extensive experience in all aspects of GST and stamp duty law insofar as they relate to mortgages, commercial loan securities and real property.
