Mills Oakley Special Counsel Pablo Fernandez has been named in the Property Council of Australia’s 30 Under 30 list, which recognises the industry’s best and brightest under the age of 30 at the time of judging. The 30 Under 30 list covers a broad spectrum of young professionals working in the property industry and Pablo was one of only four lawyers to make the list, and the only lawyer from Victoria.
The selection process for inclusion in the list was particularly rigorous and self-nominations by individuals or their employers were not permitted. Instead, submissions and adjudication were managed by a panel of senior professionals in leadership roles in the property industry.
The Council’s publication Property Australia noted Pablo’s passion for his work and also his contribution to fostering a collaborative culture in the industry by establishing a highly successful networking group for property professionals. Pablo said that the social significance and long life span of the projects he advised on was a continued source of motivation at work and that he also enjoyed the opportunity to mentor junior colleagues at Mills Oakley.
