Farm Management Grants to assist eligible Queensland primary producers or their relatives with succession planning advice are available from 23 March 2017.
The grants provide a rebate of 50% of the amount paid for the advice, up to a maximum of $2,500 per financial year, to offset the costs of the advice.
This is an unprecedented opportunity to obtain succession planning advice at a reduced cost.
The advice must be associated with transferring an interest in a primary production enterprise. This can be in connection with preparing a Will, planning retirement, resolving succession disputes, or simply reviewing existing succession arrangements.
The scheme runs until 30 June 2019. Full eligibility details are available on QRAA’s website – click here.
